Autoignition - Glow Temperature

Definition:

The glow temperature describes the minimum ignition temperature of a dust layer with a one-sided thermal load.

Safety-relevant meaning:

 

The glowing temperature is one of the relevant sizes for the selection of electrical and non electric equipment in areas, where dust deposits can occur.
